5️⃣Setting Up Alerts
In this video, we will show you how to setup alerts for Valhalla.
For discord alerts:
You will find our automated Valhalla alerts inside our VIP channels of our discord community.
If you would like to be notified of this alerts, head over to the "setup alerts" channel, from here, you can choose the role from the dropdown list below according to the alerts that you wish to be mentioned on.
For example, you can choose to be notified only of Crypto Alerts, Forex & Stocks alerts, or both.
You will also find the option to be notified of the entry or stop loss updates from the strategies.
This will assign you the proper roles automatically and you will be mentioned on every alert according to your choosing.
For telegram alerts:
If you would also like to receive Valhalla Alerts in Telegram, follow the steps bellow:
Start our membership bot by searching @ValhallaMembershipBot in Telegram. After you start the bot, send us your Telegram username inside a ticket. Wait for some minutes and you should be notified once your channel subscription is active. Press “My subscriptions” then “Links to available chats” and you will find your invite to the alerts channels in there.
For tradingview alerts:
You can go ahead and press the 3 dots right next to the indicator settings. Then press the first "Add alert on Valhalla Indicator" option. Keep the any alert function call condition to be notified of Longs & Shorts.
Alternatively, if you have a Valhalla Lifetime membership, you will also be able to select conditional alerts to split between longs and shorts, this will be useful if you wish to automate them via webhooks, if you choose conditional alerts make sure that you select the frequency as "once per bar".
Next, select your expiration time and your desired alert actions.
You can also change the name of the alert if you wish.
Finally, just click create and your alert for the chosen pair will be ready, now just repeat the process with any other pair that you would like.
Now, if you also wish to be notified of any changes on the dynamic next entry or stop loss price, you can setup the alerts as follows:
As the condition choose either "Next Long update" or "Next short update", you will need to setup each one separately for each pair.
Next, choose "Once per bar", your desired expiration time, alert actions, and finally the alert name and message.
Leave the default placeholders if you wish to receive the symbol and the updated value within the message.
Or you can also change it as you wish.
And that's pretty much it, you will be notified when any changes of the next long or short entry occur.
