# Clarity Candles

Clarity Candles replace the default chart colors with a structure-aware coloring scheme that shows you the trend state and band interaction at a glance.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Structure Colors</mark>

When candle coloring is enabled, bars are colored based on the current structural state: <mark style="color:cyan;">teal/cyan</mark> during bullish structure, <mark style="color:$danger;">red</mark> during bearish structure, and gray during neutral. This gives an instant visual read on which side of the market owns the structure.

#### Reaction Colors

When a candle's close is within 0.6× ATR of the trailing band line, it's in the "reaction zone" — the area where the band is actively being tested. These candles override the structure color:

| Color | Condition | Meaning |
| --------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| <mark style="color:$warning;">● Orange</mark> | Near band + bullish close (close ≥ open) | Potential bounce — buying pressure at the band |
| <mark style="color:purple;">● Purple</mark> | Near band + bearish close (close < open) | Potential breakdown — selling pressure at the band |

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Trend Background</mark>

The <mark style="color:cyan;">`Trend Background`</mark> toggle adds a subtle full-chart background tint: dark teal during bullish structure, dark red during bearish. This is the widest-angle view of market state available in the indicator.
