# CHOCH Entry Signals

CHOCH Entry signals fire when market structure shifts, a bearish trend breaks to bullish (BULL signal) or a bullish trend breaks to bearish (BEAR signal). These are reversal entries at the point of structural change.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">How CHOCH Signals Fire</mark>

A BULL signal triggers when all of these are true:

* Signal mode is set to "CHOCH Entry" or "Both"
* A bullish CHOCH event just occurred (close broke above the swing high while structure was bearish)
* The signal's grade meets the minimum grade filter

A BEAR signal follows the inverse logic: a bearish CHOCH (close broke below the swing low while structure was bullish), subject to the same mode and grade filters.
