## Helper Panel

The helper panel will show you all of the info you need to know regarding the current & next trade Entries, Take Profit Levels and Stop-Loss.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FJzf6Bv89SUbkNsLZSAsz%2Fhttps___files.gitbook.com_v0_b_gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com_o_spaces_2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY_2Fuploads_2FoJuKE9SudIpy2kDQNXkj_2Fimage.avif?alt=media&amp;token=22d2cadf-c851-4acc-bc94-8d187023aa09" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Entering Trades

By default, Valhalla will load up with the "Use the opposite signal as Stop Loss" enabled, this means that there will always be an active trade, such as follows:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FANbrMIto88f7VAjUAZln%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=028fa5a5-3f58-45f7-9cdf-8b7314af753c" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When this function is disabled, there will be times when there wont be any active trade, the details of the most probable position will show in the helper panel.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2Fr2vkWOGXPv7zJzfhECzT%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=05f5a063-9866-470a-b86c-063ba517a293" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If you are ready to prepare your trade ahead of time, go ahead and set your pending market stop order (using Stop Market) at the indicated entry price in advance.

{% hint style="danger" %}
Entry price could change at some point, so if you schedule one trade ahead of time and it takes long to execute, make sure to open up Valhalla and check if it has changed.
{% endhint %}

For example, if you want to enter a long position at 60$ (current price - let's say 56$), set the trigger price to $60 and press the Buy/Long option depending on your strategy.

![](https://teletype.in/files/53/d0/53d0797a-0f14-4577-875c-553d74edea9d.png)

You can also set a take-profit in advance (**using Regular Limit order**). For instance, set trigger price to 61$, and press Sell/Short.

![](https://teletype.in/files/72/94/7294391d-b2a6-4b04-b255-a60ac63e8e33.png)

All set by now!

You can also view which TP's of the current trade have been hit, a green checkmark will appear.

And also the strategy % values of the TP/SL are displayed.

## 🎯 Streamlined Take Profit System

Now featuring just 3 strategic TP levels - each designed for different trader profiles:

🔎 Robustness by TP Profile

TP1: Low R:R (0.4 – 0.8), High Accuracy (85%+)

✅ Pros:\
Frequent wins, high “hit rate.”\
Feels rewarding in the short term.

❌ Cons:\
Losses much larger than wins → one loss can erase several gains.\
Psychologically draining when streaks of small wins vanish to a single big loss.

⚠️ Verdict: Not very robust for long-term. Only viable with strict execution and continuous performance grade monitoring.

👤 Trader Fit: Appeals to beginners who want fast gratification, but dangerous without strong discipline.

TP2: Balanced (R:R 0.8 – 1.2, Accuracy 70%+)

✅ Pros:\
Best compromise between accuracy and reward.\
Survives volatility better since targets aren’t too tight.\
Easier to follow consistently without psychological strain.

⚖️ Verdict: Most robust overall. Reliable balance of expectancy, psychology, and execution resilience.

👤 Trader Fit: Best for most traders, especially those seeking long-term consistency and smoother execution.

TP3: High R:R (1.2 – 1.5+), Lower Accuracy (40–70%)

✅ Pros:\
Stronger risk/reward ratio.\
Captures bigger moves and longer trends.\
Usually results in the best expectancy per trade and overall net profit.

❌ Cons:\
Extended losing streaks.\
Many traders give up before large winners play out.\
Requires confidence in the edge and tolerance for variance.

⚖️ Verdict: Robust in theory, but demanding in practice. Works best with automation or highly disciplined traders.

👤 Trader Fit: Suited for experienced traders who can stomach drawdowns, or those running systematic/automated strategies.<br>

## 📊 New Performance Grading System

Every alert now includes a Performance Grade based on TP3 data, evaluating three core metrics:

Formula: Average R/R Ratio + Profit Factor + Accuracy

🔥 STRONG:

Avg R/R: >= 1.2\
Profit Factor: >= 1.3\
Accuracy >= (Breakeven Accuracy + 7%)

👍 SOLID:

Avg R/R: >= 0.9\
Profit Factor: >= 1.1\
Accuracy >= (Breakeven Accuracy + 4%)

Else ⚠️ RISKY

## Take Profit Strategies&#x20;

1. Close the position in parts, for example: 50% on TP2 and 50% on TP 3.
2. Close the whole position on a specific target, for example: 100% on TP3. (Our Favorite Strategy)
3. After reaching a certain target (TP3 for example), move the SL to the entry price and move it higher and higher as the profit grows.

## **Our Favorite Strategy for Crypto:**

* Only signals with solid or strong performance grade
* 1% of capital at risk per trade
* Isolated Leverage
* 100% Take Profit on TP3
* No more than 1-3 trades open at the same time
* Longs + Shorts following the trend
* SL: Opposite Signal (Adjust Dynamically)

:warning: We advice you to create your own strategy according to your trading style, risk & capital management.

# How To Use Scalper?

## **Liquidity Levels**

**Untapped Levels:** Unlock Hidden Opportunities! We all know that the real action happens behind swing points and beyond the highs and lows of previous days, weeks, and months. These untapped levels are the treasure troves of liquidity, filled with resting orders, especially those sneaky stop-loss orders. Valhalla now tracks these untapped levels, preserving their liquidity for your trading advantage.

**Liquidity Pools:** Your Secret to Market Mastery! Once you identify a liquidity level, magic happens. These clusters of liquidity levels act like powerful magnets, drawing price action towards them. It's like a treasure hunt for traders!

The closer the liquidity pool, the smoother the ride, and the more straightforward the path. This is the phenomenon known as a liquidity grab or sweep – it's your ticket to trading success. With Valhalla, you'll be able to spot these liquidity pools and frame your directional bias with ease.

They will serve you as an additional confluence for your entries and exits.

### **Scalper Alerts**

Additionally if you have the LIFETIME membership, you will also be able to automate the scalper signals by using conditional alerts for specific signals and direction:

The Scalper Indicator features 3 different types of signals, keeping the essence and accuracy of Valhalla by showing you in real time the levels where they will trigger as soon as price reaches it (without needing to wait for candle close) so that you can continue preparing your trades ahead of time as you are used to with Valhalla:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2F1ngnaAeLgtMei99SBeOt%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=910d97f5-93b8-41f9-9e1f-7bf26e765c37" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f7e2.png" alt="🟢" data-size="line"> <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f534.png" alt="🔴" data-size="line"> **Buy/Sell 1 | Circle Signals.** This signals are triggered with the most frequency. They are intended for more experienced traders that prefer scalping with a bigger volume of signals trading almost every local top/bottom.&#x20;

&#x20;<img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f53a.png" alt="🔺" data-size="line"><img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f53b.png" alt="🔻" data-size="line"> **Buy/Sell 2 | Triangle Signals.** Medium zone, this signals will fit most traders. They will trigger when the price reaches the zone but the momentum and volume isn't enough to reach the higher zone.&#x20;

&#x20;<img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f537.png" alt="🔷" data-size="line"> <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f536.png" alt="🔶" data-size="line"> **Buy/Sell 3 | Diamond Signals.** In a range market, when price reaches the Diamond zone it means that a strong deviation from the average has occurred and there is a high probability that it will return to the average zone, or at least the underlying zone. This signals could also indicate a change in trend if broken.&#x20;

At first glance it could look a bit intimidating, but as you get to experiment with it, you will be able to turn on/off the signals that you don't want to see and adjust the scalping algorithm with a variety of formulas and sensitivity.

## **How To Trade Scalper Signals?**

To get the most out of the scalper mode, it is recommended that you only take signals following the trend from the current main Valhalla trade according to each strategy.

If you like a higher trade frequency, BUY/SELL 1 - Circle Signals <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f7e2.png" alt="🟢" data-size="line"> <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f534.png" alt="🔴" data-size="line"> will be a good fit.

Preferably, you will want to trade the BUY/SELL 2 - Triangle Signals for medium frequency.  <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f53a.png" alt="🔺" data-size="line"><img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f53b.png" alt="🔻" data-size="line">&#x20;

And use the BUY/SELL 3 - Diamond Signals  <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f537.png" alt="🔷" data-size="line"> <img src="https://web.telegram.org/k/assets/img/emoji/1f536.png" alt="🔶" data-size="line"> as indicator of potential reversals or change in trend.

### **Entry and Take Profit:**

Let's take a look at one way of using the Scalper Mode in combination of the Main Valhalla Strategies:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FgHFH1MjM6IvxlktxvdAs%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=36b9bc17-be21-4081-b1ef-0f57844d1aa5" alt=""><figcaption><p>LONG Valhalla Main Trade</p></figcaption></figure>

During a LONG main Valhalla trade, we would preferably take entries only on the Buy Scalper Signals, **Green Triangles on this example**, and exit on the opposite Red Triangle.

Same applies to using the circle and diamond signals.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FlINJJeEf1fitvJG7Rdfu%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=da314462-cc84-4788-8500-0452a00c17c5" alt=""><figcaption><p>On this example the main Valhalla indicator is currently in a Short trade, so you should focus mainly on following sell signals for scalper entries, meaning the red circles, triangles or gold diamonds.</p></figcaption></figure>

The same would apply viceversa during a SHORT trade, for example we take only entries from the Red Circles and exit on the Green ones.&#x20;

### When to avoid signals?

It is recommended to skip signals if the main indicator trade already reached the Take Profit Level 3.

For example:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FOPGcZ47hMHPyknE2krPU%2Fscalper-skip.jpg?alt=media&amp;token=bc1a02f6-abe6-4bc6-a941-7767bc071c50" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Stop Loss and when to Re enter:**

Let's say that the asset that we are looking at, has been ranging in the past on an average of 2%, like the following example for BUY/SELL 2 (Triangle Signals):

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FQUMRBRoyY2ZPgBxciQOt%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=96c0ce28-11a3-4d2c-9f22-38f1de4ee343" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

We can consider this same amount to use as Stop-Loss range, so we have a 1:1 Risk Reward ratio.

And let's say that our Stop-Loss was hit, as on the following example:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FUTeUOWn3hKGw6ruCq5Cz%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=0da9349c-6dbc-45c4-b933-c550ee2fe44f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You would preferably resume your trades until AFTER an opposite signal of the same level has appeared (Red Triangle inside Yellow Circle in this example), meaning that a range could soon start being established.

So you would wait and enter until the next Buy Signal has appeared (Green Triangle inside Green Circle) and Take Profit normally on the next **Red Triangle.**

Here we have another example, where an opposite signal didn't appear after hitting our Stop-Loss or after a Diamond Signal appeared:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FnEexZdRwJMHeHZOTS2CE%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=6283c649-9531-43c7-a972-2be4a0df6a18" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This means that after our failed trade, we wouldn't have entered on all of those other Green Triangle Signals, since an opposite Red Triangle is still yet to come.

This will help you avoid this kind of scenarios when price changes the trend and re assure that you resume your trading until the next possible range has started to form.

## **Scalper Settings**

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2Fl0eUGSvxE1bWNjnlHXid%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=6c29e37c-9d40-41bb-8e10-f4dda93740c9" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Turn on/off the different Scalper Signals.

Show scalper bands:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2F5SAPwjsMgyAnqIPUsenp%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=1c01f762-dcf5-43fe-9431-fc9344763920" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Formula:** Changes the formula behind the scalper algorithm, resulting in different signals being triggered.

**Window:** The amount of candles to consider for the range to calculate the signals.

A lower value will use recent data.

A range between 100-500 is recommended.

You will need to experiment and backtest with this settings on each different asset and timeframe, as optimization will always be possible.

## **Liquidity Levels**

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FwAFHQTpZ5XwmwTdzSEGa%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=8bdda74c-3d8f-496a-b50c-fc7bf44ed12f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FlbiLdZjZRdTtnv7t8Guo%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=abc6b40e-beb7-4895-883d-6e26b0333be2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FeXwan6IHOWyzhDjQG6pb%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=b1df0aa7-4081-40dd-a72b-3fb6c018d05a" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If enabled, will be triggered using the "Any Alert Function Call" Condition when creating an alert:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2Fa0yDZIdGVX3zAwVLMzvt%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=1ef999b0-b998-4b96-9936-364102c27f98" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Additionally if you have the LIFETIME membership, you will also be able to automate the scalper signals by using conditional alerts for specific signals and direction:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FU0CHPbp4ARfUC1DS5OVs%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=d4692531-8cdc-4cc3-8e97-8e4e8477d082" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Setting Up Alerts

In this video, we will show you how to setup alerts for Valhalla.

## For discord alerts:

You will find our automated Valhalla alerts inside our VIP channels of our discord community.

If you would like to be notified of this alerts, head over to the "setup alerts" channel, from here, you can choose the role from the dropdown list below according to the alerts that you wish to be mentioned on.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2Fd6TeOErSf4yljN9TWQji%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=c3d888c4-2613-456f-af2d-45cac685da4d" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

For example, you can choose to be notified only of Crypto Alerts, Forex & Stocks alerts, or both.

You will also find the option to be notified of the entry or stop loss updates from the strategies.

This will assign you the proper roles automatically and you will be mentioned on every alert according to your choosing.

## For tradingview alerts:

You can go ahead and press the 3 dots right next to the indicator settings. Then press the first "Add alert on Valhalla Indicator" option. Keep the any alert function call condition to be notified of Longs & Shorts.

Alternatively, if you have a Valhalla Lifetime membership, you will also be able to select conditional alerts to split between longs and shorts, this will be useful if you wish to automate them via webhooks, if you choose conditional alerts make sure that you select the frequency as "once per bar".

Next, select your expiration time and your desired alert actions.

You can also change the name of the alert if you wish.

Finally, just click create and your alert for the chosen pair will be ready, now just repeat the process with any other pair that you would like.

Now, if you also wish to be notified of any changes on the dynamic next entry or stop loss price, you can setup the alerts as follows:

As the condition choose either "Next Long update" or "Next short update", you will need to setup each one separately for each pair.

Next, choose "Once per bar", your desired expiration time, alert actions, and finally the alert name and message.

Leave the default placeholders if you wish to receive the symbol and the updated value within the message.

Or you can also change it as you wish.

And that's pretty much it, you will be notified when any changes of the next long or short entry occur.

Thanks for watching!

# Important Tips

## **Our Favorite Strategy for Crypto:**

* Only signals with solid or strong performance grade
* 1% of capital at risk per trade
* Isolated Leverage
* 100% Take Profit on TP3
* No more than 1-3 trades open at the same time
* Longs + Shorts following the trend
* SL: Opposite Signal (Adjust Dynamically)

:warning: We advice you to create your own strategy according to your trading style, risk & capital management.

## Position Sizing

One of the most important things in trading, do not overlook it!

Make sure to always prepare your positions with a proper position size considering:

* Your balance
* The % of your balance that you want to risk per trade&#x20;
* The avg Stop Loss for the strategy, take profit level and it's R/R ratio.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2F3XQ1Y5ka6npPecGe1cPj%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=bb881673-2819-4396-8ba8-684371077e8f" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can use the official Valhalla Position Size & Risk Calculator, if you do not have access to it, feel free to reach out to us in order to request it.

## Additional Tips

1\. Try to avoid signals with a current "Risky" Performance Grade.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FE6R4Ljah2CDFSQb3seQU%2Fimage.png?alt=media&amp;token=369f0dfb-0a8f-4443-b740-ccb4b347cb90" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2\. Do not enter a trade if it has already reached TP2+.

3\. **IMPORTANT!** Try to avoid signals that do not follow the trend, or enter them with a smaller deposit. If Bitcoin is in a **bullish** trend, then give preference to **longs** rather than shorts, and vice versa.

4\. Do not try to win back/add more contracts/disable stops/enter again with a larger deposit after an unsuccessful signal.

This is called the **"tilt"** mindset. Being tilted is a person's state of mind that is triggered by overwhelming emotions from winning or losing. A person cannot control the situation when they are tilted and makes risky decisions instead of deliberate ones – as a result, they **make many mistakes**.

Strong emotions that overwhelm the person's mind forces them to act inadequately: to change the style of play to the riskiest one, which may turn out to be a good decision, of course, but leads to a **crushing defeat** more so than often.

![](https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FC7sHMpjZYFSGFRVc8VEw%2Fimage.png?alt=media\&token=4d98ae23-f5a7-4d36-9c0c-6555f483a566)

If you find yourself having a "tilted" mind, just take a break and don’t trade for a couple of hours/days/weeks.

5\. If a series of signals have already been posted after another Bitcoin drop – for example, for a short, – and most strategies are **already** in good profit, then any further signals for a short should be avoided, because the correction is most likely **already over**, and there will be a **rebound** soon. In other words, it is better to expect opposite signals for a long. The same strategy above applies to a long.

\- Always do your analysis. It is beneficial to rely on the indicator, but conducting research and analysis is highly recommended.\
\- It is recommended to use only 1-3% of your capital per trade. \
\- You can open several tabs in the browser and select a specific strategy in each tab. For example, one tab for the BTC strategy, another one for BCH, and the third one for EOS.

# Overview

## <mark style="color:cyan;">The Core Philosophy: Structure-First Trading</mark>

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2F9LxlT5mR2A6nMmJF6f8Q%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=6f50b165-240f-4d40-ab5d-91bb63bf4169" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Every indicator on your chart is doing the same thing, trying to answer one question: *who is in control right now, and is that about to change?*

Most answer it with math. Moving averages, oscillators, momentum formulas, they process past prices through equations and give you a derived number. The problem is that derived numbers lag. By the time the formula catches the shift, price has already moved.

Valhalla SMC answers it differently. Instead of computing a formula and hoping it correlates with what the market is doing, it reads the structure of the market itself — the actual sequence of highs and lows that define who is in control. This is the raw, unfiltered footprint of the battle between buyers and sellers, and it is the single most reliable framework for understanding price action.

This is what we mean by **structure-first**: market structure is not one of many inputs. It is the only input. Every other feature in the indicator, the trend band, the signals, the grading system, the targets, derives its state from structure. Nothing in Valhalla SMC can disagree with the structural read, because nothing operates independently of it.

### <mark style="color:cyan;">The Three States of Any Market</mark>

Strip away the noise, and price is always doing one of three things:

**Trending Bullish** - Buyers are in control. Price is making higher highs and higher lows, pushing upward in a staircase pattern. Each pullback holds above the last one, and each push makes new ground.

**Trending Bearish** - Sellers are in control. Price is making lower highs and lower lows, descending step by step. Each rally fails to reclaim the previous peak, and each decline cuts deeper.

**Consolidation** - Neither side has won. Price moves sideways in a range, with buyers and sellers reaching a temporary equilibrium. This state always resolves, eventually one side overwhelms the other, and a new trend begins.

Valhalla SMC is built to identify which of these states the market is in, and more importantly to detect the exact moment it transitions from one state to another. That transition point is where the highest-conviction trades live.

{% hint style="info" %} <mark style="color:cyan;">**Decision-Support Tool**</mark>

Valhalla SMC is designed as a decision-support framework, not a standalone signal generator. It surfaces institutional-grade market structure, grades the conviction behind each setup, and provides structure-anchored targets, but the final trading decision is always yours.
{% endhint %}

# Quick Start

Get Valhalla SMC on your chart and running in under two minutes.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Step 1: Add the Indicator</mark>

Open TradingView, click **Indicators** at the top of your chart, search for **Valhalla SMC**, and add it to your chart. You'll immediately see structure lines, the trend band, and the dashboard.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Step 2: Choose Your Signal Mode</mark>

Open Settings → **Signals** → **Signals Mode**. Pick the mode that matches your style:

| Mode                 | Best For                                                      |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `CHOCH Entry`        | Reversal traders, signals fire on structure shifts            |
| `Continuation Entry` | Trend-followers, signals fire on pullbacks to the band        |
| `Both` | See all setups, CHOCH entries + continuation entries together |

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Step 3: Set Your Time Horizon</mark>

The **Time Horizon** setting (under Market Structure) is the most important setting in the SMC Indicator, it controls how many bars the algorithm uses to analyze previous price action.&#x20;

Lower values (5–8) react faster with more frequent CHOCH structure events:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FxTCxK2bzWjKGWkPhy9Hq%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=c23ee266-ab02-4c66-aa46-cf1cd6eccc90" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Higher values (12–40+) produce cleaner, more significant structure. The default of **10** is a solid middle ground:

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FzjMexBnI5TlM7UXJucMy%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=b2bfe60d-0239-4723-a205-5f3754b03de6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %} <mark style="color:cyan;">**TIP**</mark>

If you want to receive a higher amount of pullback signals, we recommend setting the Time Horizon setting to a higher value.
{% endhint %}

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Step 4: Configure Targets</mark>

Under **Bull / Bear Signals and Continuation Signals**, you can choose between `Smart` targets (structure-anchored TP1/TP2/TP3) or `Fixed R Multiples`.

Smart mode is recommended, it automatically finds structural swing targets, opposing order blocks, and HTF liquidity pools.

Smart mode sources each TP level from a different structural element, creating a three-tier target system anchored to real market levels rather than arbitrary R multiples.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Smart Mode Structural Targets:</mark>

<table><thead><tr><th>Target</th><th width="180">Source (CHOCH)</th><th>Source (Continuation)</th><th>Logic</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>TP1</td><td>Nearest structural swing</td><td>Pullback-origin swing</td><td>The closest swing high (for longs) or swing low (for shorts) above/below entry that price hasn't reached yet</td></tr><tr><td>TP2</td><td>Nearest opposing order block</td><td>Nearest opposing order block</td><td>The closest unmitigated OB in the opposing direction, the first "wall" side of the OB zone</td></tr><tr><td>TP3</td><td>HTF liquidity pool</td><td>HTF liquidity pool</td><td>The nearest active (unpurged) HTF session high/low beyond the trade's existing targets</td></tr></tbody></table>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Missing Levels</mark>

Smart mode skips any level that doesn't have a valid structural target. If no opposing swing exists above entry, TP1 simply won't be drawn. If all three sources are missing, the indicator falls back to fixed R multiples.&#x20;

Labels indicate the source: `TP1 Swing`, `TP2 OB`, `TP3 Liq`.

{% hint style="info" %}
It's Important to note that each TP Target in Smart Mode is Independent from each other, meaning in some cases the TP3 could appear before the TP2 and so on.
{% endhint %}

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Fixed R Mode</mark>

When Target Mode is set to `Fixed R Multiples`, all three targets are computed as simple multiples of the risk (distance from entry to SL). Defaults: TP1 = 0.5R, TP2 = 1R, TP3 = 1.5R. These are fully configurable in settings.

{% hint style="info" %} <mark style="color:cyan;">**TIP**</mark>

Start with the defaults and observe 20–30 signals before tweaking. The grade filter (`Minimum Grade to Show Signal`) is one of the most impactful settings, setting it to `B` removes the lowest-conviction setups.
{% endhint %}

# CHOCH Entry Signals

CHOCH Entry signals fire when market structure shifts, a bearish trend breaks to bullish (BULL signal) or a bullish trend breaks to bearish (BEAR signal). These are reversal entries at the point of structural change.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">How CHOCH Signals Fire</mark>

A BULL signal triggers when all of these are true:

* Signal mode is set to "CHOCH Entry" or "Both"
* A bullish CHOCH event just occurred (close broke above the swing high while structure was bearish)
* The signal's grade meets the minimum grade filter

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FrknT93ADKKR5pi5TMt31%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=52fd2c00-26bb-40db-ab10-dfb9a99feede" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

A BEAR signal follows the inverse logic: a bearish CHOCH (close broke below the swing low while structure was bullish), subject to the same mode and grade filters.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2F8Il106KNCr0qYc4bZUM0%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=97e1b43e-4135-4bfc-b138-58d861a6b271" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Continuation Signals

Continuation signals fire when price pulls back to the trend band *after* a CHOCH has established the bias. These are with-trend entries at a better price, with tighter stops.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Trigger Conditions</mark>

A continuation BUY fires when:

* Structure is bullish
* At least 2 bars have passed since the last structure flip (so the band is established)
* The previous bar's low touched or pierced the trailing band line
* The previous bar's close remained above the band (bounce, not breakdown)
* Enough bars have passed since the last continuation signal (cooldown = `Time Horizon`)
* No CHOCH signal fired on the same bar
* The continuation grade meets the minimum filter

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FN57MjMCDEAdAiYEw9Hxv%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=3ebc29f7-2fb4-44bc-ba09-4438e69fd0d2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Continuation SELL signals follow the inverse for bearish structure.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FTbK3Hw9PZ3KUkUD2ZjTH%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=ab95c8c4-bf5f-4076-8e57-487dc49c6c7e" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Continuation Labels</mark>

Continuation signals use smaller labels than CHOCH signals. BUY appears as a small cyan label below the touch bar; SELL as a small red label above.&#x20;

When the marker-only mode is active, simple `▲` / `▼` triangles mark the touch without TP/SL levels.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Stop Loss Modes</mark>

| Mode            | SL Placement                               | Best For                              |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------- |
| `Band + Buffer` | Just beyond the trailing band line (tight) | Aggressive entries with tight risk |
| `Recent Swing`  | Below/above the most recent swing low/high | Wider stop with structural validation |

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Continuation vs. CHOCH Take Profit Targets</mark>

In Smart mode, continuation signals use a different TP1 source than CHOCH signals.

TP1 for continuation is the **pullback-origin swing,** the most recent swing that formed after the structure flip.

This is the minimum level the trend must reclaim to prove itself.

TP2 and TP3 use the same sources as CHOCH (nearest opposing OB and HTF liquidity, respectively).

# TP / SL Engine

Every signal generates a complete trade setup with an entry level, stop loss, and up to three take-profit targets. Lines extend from the signal bar until the next signal replaces them.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FUkcpGjk3a6PrOlBFVeo6%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=066f1fdc-f854-479e-b762-f3e914e838af" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Stop Loss Placement</mark>

For **CHOCH entries**, the SL is placed at the swing that created the CHOCH, the structural invalidation level. If the broken swing was a swing low (for a BULL signal), the SL sits at that swing low minus an optional ATR buffer. This is the price level where the structure thesis is definitively wrong.

For **continuation entries**, the SL mode is configurable: either tight to the band (Band + Buffer) or at the recent swing (Recent Swing).

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Trade Lifecycle</mark>

A trade is "active" from the moment its signal fires until the next signal replaces it. During this time:

* Entry, SL, and TP lines extend rightward each bar
* Labels follow the rightmost bar
* TP hit markers fire when price reaches each level (if enabled)

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">SL Visibility</mark>

The <mark style="color:cyan;">`Show SL Level`</mark> toggle controls whether the SL line is drawn on the chart. When hidden, the trade stays active until TP3 is hit or a new signal fires, you manage your own stop.&#x20;

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">TP Hit Markers</mark>

When <mark style="color:cyan;">`Show TP Hit Markers`</mark> is enabled, small labeled markers (`TP1`, `TP2`, `TP3`) appear on the bar where each target level is reached. Once the SL is hit (when visible), no further TP markers will appear, the trade is considered dead.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Line Cleanup</mark>

The <mark style="color:cyan;">`Keep Lines After Trade Resolves`</mark> setting controls whether old setups remain on the chart as frozen history or are removed when the next signal fires.

# HTF Liquidity Pools

Valhalla SMC tracks session highs and lows from two configurable higher-timeframe candles as liquidity pools, the levels where retail stops cluster and institutions target for sweeps.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">How Levels Are Collected</mark>

When a new HTF candle closes, the **previous** session's high and low are pushed into an active pool. Two timeframes can be configured (defaults: 4H and Daily), providing liquidity levels from multiple structural scales. Duplicate levels within 10% of ATR are automatically deduplicated, and the pool caps at 10 active levels per side.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Purging</mark>

A liquidity level is "purged" (removed from the active pool) when price trades through it, the wick or close exceeds the level. This mirrors the institutional concept of liquidity sweeps: once the stops at a level have been taken, that level is no longer an active magnet.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Role in Smart Targets</mark>

The nearest unpurged liquidity level in the trade direction becomes TP3 in Smart mode.&#x20;

For a long trade, the indicator finds the closest active session high above entry; for a short, the closest active session low below entry. This gives TP3 a fundamentally different character than TP1 and TP2, it represents where institutional order flow is likely to target, rather than where structure has formed.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FcdPcqCRaooieRbCiZquE%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=53656864-a2ee-41d0-ad17-16c561cab751" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Settings</mark>

| Setting                     | Default | Purpose                                       |
| --------------------------- | ------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| `TP3 Liquidity Timeframe`   | 4H      | Primary timeframe for session high/low levels |
| `TP3 Liquidity Timeframe 2` | D       | Secondary timeframe for additional levels     |

# Next CHOCH Level

This optional feature projects the exact price level that would produce the next CHOCH event if price were to close through it.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FsCucTYIDCZNP2akB1Ejx%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=a22afc9d-9497-4097-9c01-e6ce8492a351" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">How It Works</mark>

If structure is currently bullish, the next CHOCH would be bearish, triggered by a close below the current swing low.

If structure is bearish, the next CHOCH would be bullish, triggered by a close above the current swing high. The level is *known in advance*; whether price reaches it is not.

# Order Blocks

Order blocks are supply/demand zones created at structural shifts. They mark the origin candle of the impulse move that caused the BOS or CHOCH, the last opposing candle before the institutional push.

<figure><img src="https://1852853856-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FCfunqIZ7blPnOy5EMsCY%2Fuploads%2FMvinnX409wVTA3CWj8cT%2Fimagen.png?alt=media&amp;token=2c9f7ff2-add0-4b3f-860d-04fd2f132f02" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Detection Logic</mark>

When a BOS or CHOCH fires, the indicator scans backward from the **swing bar** (not the break bar) to find the last opposing candle. For a bullish OB, it finds the last bearish candle (close < open) before the upward impulse. The OB zone spans from that candle's open to its low. For a bearish OB, it's the last bullish candle, with the zone from its high to its open.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Positional Filtering</mark>

Bull OBs must sit below the broken swing high (support zone), and bear OBs must sit above the broken swing low (resistance zone). This prevents OBs from appearing on the wrong side of the structure break.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Strength Tiers</mark>

Each OB is classified by the size of its zone relative to ATR:

| Tier  | Zone Size / ATR | Interpretation                              |
| ----- | --------------- | ------------------------------------------- |
| `+`   | < 1.5×          | Standard - normal OB                        |
| `++`  | 1.5× – 2.5×     | Strong - wider institutional zone           |
| `+++` | > 2.5×          | Major - significant supply/demand imbalance |

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Mitigation</mark>

OB zones extend rightward indefinitely and are automatically removed (mitigated) when price closes through the zone: a bull OB is mitigated when close drops below its bottom edge, and a bear OB when close rises above its top edge. The `Max Active Blocks` setting caps how many OBs are visible at once, oldest are removed first when the cap is reached.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Role in Grading & Targets</mark>

Order blocks serve double duty. The signal grade system checks whether the entry price falls inside an unmitigated OB (OB confluence factor). The Smart TP system uses the nearest *opposing* OB as the TP2 target, the first structural "wall" in the trade's path.

# Clarity Candles

Clarity Candles replace the default chart colors with a structure-aware coloring scheme that shows you the trend state and band interaction at a glance.

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Structure Colors</mark>

When candle coloring is enabled, bars are colored based on the current structural state: <mark style="color:cyan;">teal/cyan</mark> during bullish structure, <mark style="color:$danger;">red</mark> during bearish structure, and gray during neutral. This gives an instant visual read on which side of the market owns the structure.

#### Reaction Colors

When a candle's close is within 0.6× ATR of the trailing band line, it's in the "reaction zone" — the area where the band is actively being tested. These candles override the structure color:

| Color                                         | Condition                                | Meaning                                            |
| --------------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------- |
| <mark style="color:$warning;">● Orange</mark> | Near band + bullish close (close ≥ open) | Potential bounce — buying pressure at the band     |
| <mark style="color:purple;">● Purple</mark>   | Near band + bearish close (close < open) | Potential breakdown — selling pressure at the band |

#### <mark style="color:cyan;">Trend Background</mark>

The <mark style="color:cyan;">`Trend Background`</mark> toggle adds a subtle full-chart background tint: dark teal during bullish structure, dark red during bearish. This is the widest-angle view of market state available in the indicator.

What makes Valhalla different from all of the other indicators is that it includes its own set of custom strategies for specific markets and timeframes. Including Crypto, Forex and stocks on Timeframes 15m, 30m, 45m and 4hr.

You can still apply Valhalla to any asset and timeframe you desire but we strongly suggest using its own set of optimized strategies.

You can see the full list in here: <https://docs.valhallaindicator.com/additional-info/strategies>

Yes, you will receive alerts inside our Premium Discord & Telegram Channels + you can configure our Telegram Bot to forward alerts directly to you.

The alerts will keep you informed about new opportunities.

Around 30-50 signals per week if you use our “Use the opposite signal as stop loss” feature, if not, you can get over 100+ .

You can find our entire documentation in here: <https://docs.valhallaindicator.com>

Valhalla knows and gives you EXACTLY the entry price of the next signal, so that you can prepare your trade ahead of time.

Valhalla will tell you EXACTLY where to place your trade ahead of time with EXTREMELY HIGH ACCURACY

**Where can I view statistics?**

You will be able to see the Accuracy of all of our strategies and their different Take Profit Levels, so that you can plan accordingly.

#### Does it repaint? <a href="#does-it-repaint" id="does-it-repaint"></a>

Our signals do **not** repaint, appear in real-time, and are confirmed on candle close.

Repainting is where signals change based on data in the future to make them appear differently than they really are.

#### Is this friendly for beginners? <a href="#is-this-friendly-for-beginners" id="is-this-friendly-for-beginners"></a>

You don't need much experience to understand the signals & features provided by Valhalla.

However, trading can be difficult and takes time to learn regardless of the indicators on your charts. If you're new to trading / technical analysis in general, we recommend paper-trading at first and studying risk management until you get familiar with how it all works to build some confidence in trading.

There is no magical indicator, algorithm, robot, EA, or signal provider that will enable you to effortlessly make money in the markets.

#### &#x20;<a href="#will-it-trade-automatically" id="will-it-trade-automatically"></a>

This means that, every month the amount of the monthly subscription will be charged, whether on the credit card registered at the time of the purchase (automatic charges), or by the bank slips sent to your email.

Canceling the subscription does not imply the refund of the amount already invested, it just **cancels future charges**. You can get the refund from the last recurrency paid if it’s within the return deadline. To cancel:

1\) To cancel simply let us know via email (<valhallaindicator@gmail.com>), Telegram (@ValhallaSupport) or Discord.

#### Will the price of my subscription ever change? <a href="#will-the-price-of-my-subscription-ever-change" id="will-the-price-of-my-subscription-ever-change"></a>
